Jewish Holidays

Different Jewish holidays call for different kinds of
desserts.
Purim means Hamantashen, the tri-cornered pastries filled
with apricot, black cherry, prune, chocolate or some other
sweet filling.
Passover calls for desserts made without flour. Our
specialties are Macaroons and a Chocolate Chip Mandel
Brot (a great chocolate chip cookie substitute), but our
Sponge cakes (regular or chocolate), Brownies, Banana
Cake, Honey Cake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Chocolate Nut
Cookies, Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies, Powdered
Sugar-Coated Chocolate Cookies, Apricot Cocoa Torte
which can also be made with Black Cherry, Strawberry,
Raspberry or just Chocolate) are also wonderful!
Rosh Hashonah and the "break-fast" on Yom Kippur call
for Challah.
Dreidels are associated with Chanukah, and ours are sugar
cookies dipped in chocolate or covered in sprinkles or
colored sugar.
But let's not forget about Rugelach, which are enjoyed any
time!
Call to see which items can also be made Vegan,
Gluten-Free and Sugar-Free.
Beth's cookies are the best! My favorites are the hamentachen and the chocolate dipped shapes. The chocolate is heavenly. I sent cookies to my nieces, nephews and cousins and everyone loved them!! Worth going off your diet for these.
